We’re excited to share that Jenny Reid has stepped into the role of CEO at WMS.
Jenny joined WMS ten years ago after working as a property litigation lawyer. Since then, she’s been leading our team as a Service Manager, and has played a huge part in shaping WMS into what it is today: a trusted, award-winning charity helping people navigate through conflict towards peace: at home, in school and at work.
Thanks to Jenny’s leadership, WMS has grown into one of the UK’s leading providers of conflict resolution and training, marked by the King’s Award for Voluntary Service and the Innovation Award at the National Mediation Awards.
“I am delighted to be appointed as CEO, and to be part of the dedicated and talented team who are committed to taking WMS into its next exciting chapter.” – Jenny Reid, CEO.
Following our rebrand and strategy review, our next step is wider growth. Our Reflect intervention workshops for teenagers at risk of exclusion are now being delivered in East London, thanks to multi-year support from Linklaters. Our Peer Mediation programme, which is already well-established in Wandsworth, is now expanding in Merton and Lewisham. We’ve gathered strong evidence of impact and are now working towards the next phase: offering these innovative programmes to more schools across the UK, completely free of charge.
Jenny has been at the heart of WMS’s journey over the past years, and we’re delighted to have her leading us into this next chapter.
