WMS Celebration & Training Evening

It was brilliant to see so many people from our mediator and facilitator panels at our Celebration & Training Evening last week, and to share the journey WMS has been on over the last year. Particular thanks to:

  • Our new WMS ambassadors, Afolabi Alli, Immaculada Matthews and Rachel Sandby-Thomas, along with our Founder Patron, Stephen Ruttle KC, for helping drive WMS forward.
  • Our raffle prize winners, and everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets – together we raised an amazing £400 for WMS!
  • Our Case Manager, Kirsten Ross, for delivering a thought-provoking Unconscious Bias training session.

Here are some of the highlights shared on the night:

  • In the 2025/26 financial year, WMS supported 2,000 beneficiaries through 282 conflict resolution cases and 54 training workshops. Across our training projects, we worked with 1,334 children and 88 adults in schools, PRUs, organisations and community groups. Our success rate for mediated cases was 88%.
  • We shared videos of our corporate sponsor, Linklaters, and one of our funders, Wimbledon Foundation, talking about the impact of our school programmes. Click here and here to watch them.
  • We also shared a new promo video for our games-based peer mediation programme:

We would like to thank all our supporters for everything you do for WMS. Whether you mediate cases, deliver workshops, support projects or advocate for our work, you make a real difference. We are so grateful to have such a committed community around us.
