WMS is made up of over 70 people who all share one goal: helping people navigate through conflict towards peace. This includes our office team, trustees, volunteer mediators and specialist facilitators.
Our day-to-day operations are managed by a part-time office team and supported by volunteers. Together they run everything from case management to community outreach. WMS is overseen by our CEO, Jenny Reid, and a volunteer Board of Trustees, who guide the charity’s strategy, finances and governance.
Our facilitators deliver training projects across schools, communities and workplaces. Adult training is led by practising mediators. School projects are delivered by specialist facilitators – many with drama or education backgrounds – who are experienced in working with children and young people with a range of needs.
Our community services are delivered by trained volunteers, most of whom live in the London Borough of Wandsworth. They support neighbours, families, young people and community groups – offering free mediation, coaching and facilitation. We provide regular supervision to keep our standards high.
Our commercial services are delivered by some of the UK’s top mediators – including King’s Counsel and award-winners – who volunteer their time to support us. This means we can offer top-tier workplace and commercial mediation at charitable rates. All income from this work supports our free services for the community.
