Conflict Resolution Workshop for KS2

A games-based workshop for Year 4–6 pupils that builds practical skills for understanding and managing conflict.

About the workshop

Conflict is a normal part of growing up, but many children don’t yet have the tools to understand what is happening or respond in a positive way. This workshop helps KS3 pupils understand conflict and practise ways to manage it constructively.

The session sits alongside RSE, PATHS and Zones of Regulation, reinforcing what pupils are already learning.

What pupils gain

  • Greater self-awareness around conflict and their own reactions.
  • A shared language for talking about feelings and disagreement.
  • Practical strategies to stay calm and avoid escalation.
